The Dartmouth Home site provides news, images, and links to inspire interest among prospective students and faculty, convey the depth and breadth of the College’s research and scholarly activity, and highlight the extraordinary people and places that make Dartmouth unique. The site comprises over 70 pages, many managed by the Office of Communications, providing an introduction to academics, research, and life at Dartmouth, and guiding visitors to information they need.
Dartmouth News, the primary news website for the College, reports on activities and initiatives—events, people, ideas, news, and announcements about Dartmouth. Dartmouth News is updated at least five days a week with content produced by the Office of Communications, selected external news outlets, and other content produced by other departments across campus. Speaking of Dartmouth, a newsletter for Dartmouth alumni and parents, is produced by the Office of Communications in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Relations. A compilation of Dartmouth News stories, Speaking of Dartmouth is sent monthly to alumni of both the undergraduate College and the graduate schools; parents of current undergraduates; and other subscribers. The publication engages alumni and parents by providing them with an attractive multimedia digest of important institutional news and information.
Dartmouth Life is the institution’s principal print communications vehicle. Published three times a year, the newsletter communicates with alumni of the undergraduate College, parents of current students, members of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, campus visitors, prospective students, and others. Through compelling stories and art, Dartmouth Life illustrates the totality of the Dartmouth experience.
Vox Daily: A daily digest of news, events, and announcements sent on weekdays via email to all faculty, staff, and students.
Dartmouth News Weekly: An electronic newsletter of College news sent every Thursday to all faculty, staff, and students. People outside the College can subscribe to the publication, which includes timely stories, video, photo slideshows, and other content.
SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS
The Dartmouth Events Calendar, maintained by the Conferences and Events office, is the place to find out what's going on at Dartmouth. Search for what interests you, subscribe to stay updated, and share events with others. Events published on the calendar are open to the public and other Dartmouth audiences (students, faculty, staff, and alumni), and are sponsored by recognized Dartmouth organizations.
The annual Commencement Program is published each spring by the Office of Communications. The 60-plus-page booklet, distributed at Commencement ceremonies, lists graduates, awards and honors, honorary degree recipients, those retiring from the College, and information about the regalia and College treasures that are part of the annual celebration.
