Media Relations

The media relations team engages with print, digital, and broadcast media to help facilitate accurate, timely, and compelling news about Dartmouth. We promote faculty research, campus events, and strategic initiatives, and we work with Dartmouth community members to provide support and guidance in their interactions with the media.

Our Services

Promoting Dartmouth's academic excellence and distinction within higher education
Proposing, facilitating, tracking, and analyzing media coverage of Dartmouth
Positioning thought leaders and providing subject matter experts to media, which includes maintaining Dartmouth's faculty expert database
Issuing news releases, statements, and media advisories related to events, faculty scholarship, research, and leadership
Overseeing Dartmouth’s credentialing process for media members who wish to conduct interviews, photograph, and/or film on campus
Managing major media events, including Commencement, organizing press conferences, and working with film crews
Providing media training and support for Dartmouth community members in their interactions with journalists, photographers, and/or videographers
