Advocating for Dartmouth

Dartmouth educates the most promising students and prepares them for a lifetime of learning and of responsible leadership through a faculty dedicated to teaching and the creation of knowledge. Its success depends on staying true to and advocating for its core values.

This page provides a high-level overview of Dartmouth's efforts to advocate for these values with the federal government during 2025. Dartmouth faculty, staff, or students who need detailed information or access to resources should visit the following websites instead: Office of Visa and Immigration Services (for our international community) and Office of Sponsored Projects for federally-funded research). We encourage Dartmouth alumni who want to join our advocacy efforts to reach out to presidentsdesk@dartmouth.edu for more information and share relevant content from our social channels with your communities.
