Internships

The Office of Communications offers internship opportunities that relate to practical experience in journalism for Dartmouth students.

Internship Opportunities

The Whitney Campbell 1925 Internship in Journalism is an endowed internship that supports two or more students, who learn how to create content for the College's various platforms and publications. The fund honors Whitney Campbell 1925, who was editor-in-chief of The Dartmouth from 1924 to 1925. Recent interns have worked as writers, videographers, and photographers as well as on Dartmouth's social media channels.

Additionally, the office hires students to work as photography interns and assist the college photographers in capturing images that tell Dartmouth's story.

Students interested in learning more about internship opportunities should contact the Office of Communications.
